Jelissa is a carpentry apprentice in British Columbia, Canada. She is a regional representative for the British Columbia Centre for Women in the Trades and is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit Build a Dream. On the weekends, Jelissa flexes her creative side by running a small business building products for local businesses and event planners/decorators. She has big aspirations for the future and hopes to make the trades a safer and more inclusive, diverse, and equitable place.

Sarah is a woodworker and designer based in Texas. Her company Tool Girl’s Garage was born from a love of tools and using them to create amazing things that are both attractive and functional. Sarah was lucky enough to grow up around construction and learn how to turn her creative ideas into reality. Whether it’s tackling a renovation project or building a custom piece of furniture, she enjoys showing the process of how a simple idea evolves into a finished product. In addition to her work with Tool Girl’s Garage, Sarah is the most proud of her roles as a mom of two boys and a wife to her husband of 15 years. She loves sharing her experiences and skills to help encourage others to make their own dreams a reality, regardless of their circumstances.

Josh is a 33-year-old renewable industry veteran by day and aspiring woodworker by night. He has always loved woodworking and building in general, but homeownership really fueled the fire behind taking woodworking to another level for him and his business. Josh resides in Northwestern Connecticut with his two boys and wife, and he documents his life, skills, and the behind-the-scenes of his Ferguson Woodcraft projects on his Instagram.
